Last night I had the opportunity to preview "The Secret Life of Bees" at the Cinemark Theaters on Powers...and can I just say...WOW! I think this could possibly be one of the best movies I have ever watched. Now, I may be a little biased because I loved the book...if you haven't read it...go get it now and read it...and when to movie comes out...GO SEE IT. But take some tissue. I was sitting next to a friend of mine and all I could think was "Don't cry...don't cry..."...it didn't work. I bawled like a baby! Luckily my friend understood and I think I may have even witnessed a tear from him too!
I will say this, when you see the movie...look at Dakota Fanning...she is very scary skinny. I know she's a lanky awkward teenager...but come on...eat a cheeseburger or something!
At any rate...just my two cents...go see the movie...read the book...you won't be disappointed...I promise!
