I GOT A TATTOO!!!!!

Oh My...I did it! I went and got a new tattoo yesterday. Truth be told I always wanted one on my wrist...but was a little chicken to do it. Well...yesterday I took the plunge!

As fate would have it...someone I know referred me to "RU TATTOOED" on Montebello and Academy...my friend...who is fondly known as "Trashcan" to his closest friends...sent me to see "Tat2 Bee". I'll just call him "Bee" from here on out..."Bee" was absolutely amazing! I went in with an idea and he turned it into reality!! And it really didn't hurt as much as I thought it would...ok...it hurt a little...but that is some tender skin on the inside of your wrist!!! youch!!

I decided to go with my new "personal mantra"...two simple words...NEVER SETTLE...It started as two simple words and "Bee" transformed it into something beautiful...something that I am proud to wear on my skin...something that I will show to anyone and everyone who asks to see it...shoot...I'll even show you if you don't ask...tee hee!

Never Settle...I am starting to believe that we should all live that way. Never Settle for second best...Never Settle for something you don't believe in...and Never Settle for anything less than everything! Okay...so I stole that last line from Sugarland...but that doesn't mean that I don't mean it!!

And listen to this... here's the best part...THEY LISTEN TO CAT COUNTRY ALL OF THE TIME..so picture this...here I am sitting in the chair listening to "Bee", Daniel and Junior...all singing along to Carrie Underwood, George Strait and Kenny Chesney! Talk about putting my mind at ease...whew!!

I took my Mom with me...she had never seen anyone get a tattoo or even been in a place that does tattoo's...she was a little nervous...maybe more than I was...but after about 10 minutes...she was laughing and singing along with the boys! It was great! And I guess I have to apologize to Daniel personally, because he realized yesterday that the Sugarland song "Stay" was written from the "other woman's" perspective...not the wife's...I think I may have damaged him for life...Daniel I'm sorry...but their new song "It Happens" is great...give it a listen I know you'll be back on the Sugarland "fan-wagon" in no time!

Yesterday when I left R U Tattooed...I knew I had to blog about this...after all...the new ink I got yesterday...is now a part of me...physically and mentally...forever. And I thought you might like to know that...
