Fresh off of "dude ranchin'"!!! Went to King Mountain Ranch with our "Cowboy U" winner Tiffany and her husband Mike. (Pics are up on the Cat Country website!) What a great time! If you ever have the chance to head up to King Mountain Ranch near Granby, I highly suggest that you do! Absolutely beautiful and one of the best vacations I think I have had. We were so busy doing all of the fun things that the ranch has to offer that the time flew by!
We had a full day yesterday...Started out with breakfast...then to roping lessons. Thanks to Dave for teaching us how! Then we went on a two hour horse ride...I had a fantastic horse named Chud. He was such a sweet boy!
After the ride we took a break for lunch...then headed out to shoot .22's...then up on the hill "skeet shooting"...outstanding. Paul is the most patient person I have ever met! I had never fired a gun before...'nuff said!
Another trail raid on horseback for a couple of hours...then dinner...and finally...team penning! I actually rode on horseback and penned a cow!! I never ever thought I would have done that! What a great time!!
