Almost Famous...

I think one of the greatest movies ever made is Almost Famous. It seems to come on about once or twice a month. Which is just about the right amount of time in between showings to make me want to watch it again. After all...I think we all secretly want to be rock stars...or is that just me? The fame, the money and all the craziness that seems to go along with it. It seems like rock stars (country stars included) have the great lives. Is THAT profession recession proof? It seems that if you're good...you're good. Everyone will still pay to see their favorite artists. One thing that bothers me from time to time is that some of them let it go to their head. Country artists don't seem to go that route thought. They still seem to be the most accessible and the most down to earth people that I have met. Sometimes when you meet someone famous, it's a big let down...because they turn out to be jerks. I haven't had that experience with any country artists...and I hope that I never do.
